The Helminth Segment unlocks for 15,000 Standing from Son (MR 8 plus Associate rank with the Entrati) or for 300 Platinum in the Market. Subsuming a non-Prime, non-Umbra Warframe permanently sacrifices it and adds one of its abilities to the Helminth; you can then inject that ability into slots 1–4 of any Warframe you own.
Where the XP comes from: subsuming a Warframe gives about 1,600 XP; feeding the Helminth returns 3–30% depending on how much it likes the resource; injecting an ability gives XP based on the percentage of resources spent; an Invigoration injection gives 4,800 XP in one go.
These do not come from any Warframe; they are Helminth-specific abilities unlocked straight from the Helminth Infirmary menu as your rank rises.

No. Subsuming is permanent; if you want to use that Warframe again you have to build it from its blueprints all over again.
No — the Helminth only accepts normal (non-Prime, non-Umbra) Warframes.
No. If you already took a Warframe to at least rank 30 and banked its Mastery points, those points stay with you permanently even after you subsume it.
Yes. You can replace an injected ability with any other from a Warframe you have already subsumed, at any time, by paying the required resources.
Yes — once an ability is unlocked by subsuming, it can be injected separately into every Warframe you own.
When injecting you pick one of the target Warframe’s abilities 1–4 and overwrite it; the original ability in that slot is temporarily disabled.
