RECURRING EVENT
Operation: Plague Star
You poison the Infested boil that has crashed into the Plains of Eidolon and put down the Hemocytes that crawl out of it. The reward currency is standing: Plague zaw parts, the Ghoulsaw and the Exodia arcanes all come from Nakak in exchange for it.
September 9 at 04:00 PM — September 23 at 04:00 PM (UTC)
Plains of Eidolon · Cetus (Earth)
How the mission works
-
1 · Steal the Thrax Toxin
Marked on the mapOne of the caves out on the Plains holds a Grineer Thrax Toxin stash. You go in and take it.
Tip The cave changes every run — follow the waypoint instead of searching for it.
-
2 · Defend the mixture
Marked on the mapYou carry the toxin to the mixer at a Grineer camp, then defend it for three minutes against the Grineer counterattack.
Tip The timer is fixed — you cannot finish it early. Spend those three minutes clearing the Grineer around you so they are not on your back in the next stage.
-
3 · Escort the drone to the boil
A salvaged Grineer drone hauls the toxin to the boil. It takes fire from both Grineer and Infested along the way, and you are what keeps it alive.
Tip Keep the drone above 80% health and the run pays a standing bonus at the end. It is the only real bonus on offer — stay near the drone.
-
4 · Poison the boil
A progress meter fills while the toxin rots the boil, and you hold off the Infested wave. On Advanced and Steel Path, Hemocytes spawn during this stage.
Tip Hemocytes arrive one after another, each ten levels above the last. Bring single-target damage rather than area damage.
Where the stages are

The boil is marked during the mission and the drone takes you there anyway. What the map shows is the candidates for the two stages that move around.
Consumables
These are what unlock the Advanced and Steel Path tiers. Every member of the squad has to carry one of each; they are spent automatically when the mission starts.
Eidolon Phylaxis

Advanced tiers need two consumables
The Advanced and Steel Path bounties require EVERY member of the squad to carry one of each in their inventory. They are spent automatically when the mission starts; you never use them by hand.
- Eidolon Phylaxis — blueprint from Nakak at Rank 1 (Collaborator), 2,000 standing + 4,000 credits
- Infested Catalyst — blueprint from the Bio Lab research in your clan dojo, 5,000 credits
Build a stock the night before
Both blueprints yield five at a time and finish in one minute. Gather the materials before the event opens and you can run back to back without ever stopping to craft.
- Eidolon Phylaxis (5): 500 credits · 15 Iradite · 20 Grokdrul · 10 Nistlepod
- Infested Catalyst (5): 500 credits · 500 Plastids · 2,300 Ferrite · 1,800 Nano Spores
The materials are already on the Plains
Iradite and Grokdrul come from mining the Plains, Nistlepod from its plants. A mining run while you wait for the event beats interrupting a bounty chain later.
Bounty rewards
What drops when you finish. The rates below come from the official drop tables; because an item can appear in more than one stage, we list its highest chance.

Twenty-six relics are in the pool as well: 7 Lith, 6 Meso, 7 Neo, 6 Axi. Individually they sit between 0.67% and 1.14%, so nobody runs this for relics — they are a bonus when they land.
Standing earned
This is the standing you spend at Nakak. Stage by stage:
| Tier | Stage 1 | Stage 2 | Stage 3 | Stage 4 | Drone bonus | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plague Star | 50 | 300 | 100 | 575 | +25 | 1,025 |
| Advanced | 200 | 1,000 | 300 | 1,700 | +75 | 3,200 |
| Steel Path | 200 | 1,100 | 400 | 2,100 | +100 | 3,800 |
The drone bonus is only paid if the drone stays above 80% health — the one real extra on the run. Totals exclude the bonus.
Nakak offerings

New in 2026
- Umbra Forma (pre-built) — one per event
- Two-Handed Nikana Maligna Skin
- Teralyst Prominence Sigil
- Ostron Community Sigil
- Rift Sigil
The official announcement does not list prices; they will show up at Nakak once the event opens. The Umbra Forma is the valuable one here — on its own it is reason enough to run the event.

Efficiency notes
- A full squad is what makes a chain run work: if all four carry a Phylaxis and a Catalyst, the advanced tier opens back to back with no waiting.
- Instead of everyone taking bounties from Konzu one at a time, have one person keep restarting it — that way you never fly back to Cetus.
- The drone stage is the longest and most fragile part of the run, and it is also where the bonus comes from. If you want to go faster, go faster there.
- Standing is capped daily. When you get close to the cap, stopping and saving the rest for tomorrow beats running for nothing.
- Steel Path pays more standing, but its Hemocytes come in at level 198 and up; if the squad is not ready for that, the advanced tier is the more efficient choice.
