What kind of army
The units are never shown as an independent society; they behave like extensions of a larger will. The Fragmented forms show that pieces can combine into a single threat.
The Sanctum as target
Vessels, Requiem knowledge and links across time could block The Indifference's entry. The Murmur work to break Albrecht's counter-plan apart.
The limit of fighting
Defeating units reduces the leakage but does not end the source. Physical combat has to be accompanied by relationship and by Requiem defence.
